Let’s Get to Work Sector 3

Elves of Sector 3 –

It is time for us to get to work. Effective immediately, I need the following information from your local area. Please see if you can send this in over the next ten days:

1. A roof report
2. An elf status report
3. If possible, a Kringle Radio Station ID

Okay, that last one is optional for shy elves. I just listen to a lot of Kringle Radio and I don’t hear enough from Sector 3 elves with the station IDs. It would be nice if we could hear your voices!

Now Hiring Sector Lead for Sector 3

Greetings Trackers of Sector 3 in Europe and Africa.

Our new regional tracking center is operational in Vik, Iceland. My crew of elves are all here, everything is working, and we are actively tracking the test flights of Santa’s sleigh.

As we prepare for the season ahead I have a plan in my mind I want to move forward with.

The very first step is to get one of you on board as our Sector Lead. You can read about this very important job at this link (and apply via that page as well).

I need a capable partner. I cannot always been on SantaTrackers.net to connect with all the elves in our sector. So I need an elf who will be here a lot, post news when I need it and to answer questions from other elves in our sector.

I will need to get approval for this hire from Elf Crash and Elf Sandy Claus in the Department of Elf Resources. But I want to act on this quickly so if you are interested in this job please apply soon!

Report Form for Finding Santa

As we promised earlier last week we now have activated a report form so that tracker elves can report possible sightings of Santa.

Finding Santa

This report is a little different. It goes straight to the Finding Santa Trask Force at North Pole Flight Command.

When you send in information via this form it gets added to the database of other information recently gathered about Santa’s possible location.

This allows analysts to compare all the information.

With this mass amount of information, Elf Roger Star, Elf Agent X and other task force leaders can move elf assets from the North Pole Sleigh Fleet, the North Pole Navy, and Flight Command Scout teams to different locations.

We recognize that these reports are mostly tips. Most will likely not pan out. However, all it takes is one good report to move us closer to finding Santa.

We hope you will use this report form frequently. There are NO bad reports!

The News Department will be providing updates at least weekly. Be sure to follow breaking developments at SantaUpdate.com, NorthPoleFlightCommand.com and right here on SantaTrackers.net for ongoing information.

Thank you.

Trackers Can Stand Down in Sector 3

Just got the call from Flight Command. Santa is about to enter Sector 3. He’s knocking on the door real hard! Which means we need to wind things down.

Please feel to send in any last minute report you feel might be helpful. We’re in the fast lane with Flight Command, so feel free to report anything you see.

Thank you all for a great year. It appears our goals have been met and it looks to me like Santa is making great time!

Merry Christmas!

A Last Weather Report

Santa is heading here fast. Flight Command has given us the request for one last weather report. That’s usually a sign they want to shut us down soon. Let’s make it count:

Santa Wants a Ground Report

Santa wants us to give the ground a fresh look. He’ll be here in a few hours, so if you can do this report please be as complete as you can, especially if there is something new to report.

This is very important. We need to know where you are seeing what you are reporting.

This is optional but if you can send in a picture it would help us understand

Sector 3 is on the Clock!

Sector 3 trackers – ATTENTION. This is your call to check in. We’re officially on the radar of North Pole Flight Command to track Santa for Santa. Step one is for you to let me know if you are available for duty. Do that below —

Way to Go, Sector 3

Sector 3 has a lot of be proud of this week. I don’t know why some of the other Elf Supervisors don’t post the numbers but I will – cause they are GREAT!

Here is our Elf Count:

North Pole Tracker Elves: 25,367
Freelance Tracker Elves: 5,478,341
Total Tracker Elves: 5,503,708

That’s pretty incredible improvement over just two months ago. I’m so glad you’re all here tracking Santa with us. Look at what we have now done to our report counts:

North Pole Tracker Elf Reports: 200,399
Freelance Tracker Elf Reports: 39,991,889
Total Tracker Elf Reports: 40,192,289

We more than doubled in a week! Santa is over-the-top thrilled and he feels we’re going to meet our overall target as a Sector any day now – well ahead of flight time.

Nice work, elves!

Ok, this is it – the big week. Things will change up a bit, as the other Elf Supervisors have told their groups. So be here often and watch for alerts at ANY TIME.

A New Tracker Challenge

Greetings, my tracker friends. It is time for my final tracker update of this season. This Friday, December 23rd, Santa will launch from the North Pole and make a journey around the world unlike any other he has taken before.

Why will it be different?

It will be different because he will have at his command more detailed information about most areas he will be flying. I spoke with Santa earlier today and he is just THRILLED with the Santa tracker effort this year. Although we are now just over 500 million tracker reports, which is over halfway to our goal, reports are coming in so fast that Santa feels confident we will meet and exceed our goal easily.

We have, however, some news to share with you today that you need to be aware of:

  1. The Santa Tracking Map here at SantaTrackers.net has now gone “dark”. The next time you see it will be when Santa himself launches.
  2. The test flights of Santa’s sleigh will now take a new chapter. The final version of the sleigh is being launched from the North Pole today. It will continue to fly until Thursday night, when it will return to the North Pole for a brief adjustment period. A final test flight will take place on Friday, December 23rd.
  3. That final version will feature 12 different sleighs. They will launch from the North Pole tonight and will fly only at night. Each Sector will have at least 2 sleighs in flight at a time, some will have 3.
  4. We challenge our tracker elves, between now and when Santa himself launches, to find and photograph or video any of these sleighs in flight over the next four days. Any elf who can post photographic evidence that is confirmed by North Pole Flight Command will be awarded 25,000 points by Santa himself.

That’s great news and a great opportunity for each tracker out there. We have lots of other announcements coming over the next few days. Here is what you can expect:

  • Each sector will begin a “check-in” process for tracking Santa according to the time zones of that sector. Please be paying attention.
  • A special set of “short form” reports designed for fast use while Santa is in flight will be introduced.
  • Announcements from each sector will now happen at very random times. All trackers are encouraged to check in frequently.

As a reminder, I will be in Elf Chat on Christmas Eve. I’m not sure what to expect, given the unexpected nature of the news of Santa’s sleigh this year, the many different kinds of weather challenges all over the world expected next weekend, and the unpredictable nature of tracking Santa in general. However, I will do my best to be there and prepared to discuss the latest with you.

This is a very exciting week ahead for us. Let’s stay focused on our job and get Santa around the world.
