Tracker Alert – Sector 5

We have reason to believe Santa may be in Sector 5 at this time. Tracker elves are hereby placed on alert status.

North Pole Security has asked that all Sector 5 elves – and that includes us – be shared this information:

Santa’s exact whereabouts are unknown. Recent reports, coming from several sources, indicate that eastern Canada may be hosting Santa at this time. He is traveling alone, without sleigh or reindeer, and incognito. He is on foot much of the time and using public transportation frequently.

We also have information relative to a possible destination for Santa in the coming days. Communications have been intercepted sharing that he may be headed towards northern Mexico.

Please be aware that Santa could be spotted anywhere within Sector 5 within the next 10 days.

If you believe you have seen Santa or have further information that can aid in the search for him you are encouraged to use the reporting mechanism set up for this purpose.

Please share this information with other elves who may not be online at this time.

Thanks!

Time to Get to Work

Fellow elves of Sector 5, awaken and arise! I send you greetings from our brand new Regional Tracking Center here in Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada.

Cold Lake is indeed a cold lake. We’re kind of far north for the first time in many years. But I’m enjoy the mild summer they have here and, in contrast to other parts of Canada, I’m pleased to report there are no large forest fires in this area. It is pretty and fresh here right now.

Our center is fully staffed, more than 200 elves are here with me getting ready for the season ahead.

Yes, it is still very early in the tracking of Santa 2023 but we’ve got work to do. Santa takes off in a little more than 130 days. Between now and the end of October, there is much we can do to get ready for that big day.

Let’s take it step by step. Over the course of the next few weeks I will be outlining for you the things you need to be doing from your location.

Our steps will begin with very “big picture” type steps. You will be sending in weather, geographical and structural information of a general sort. If you did these reports with us last year then you’ll be just updating information that you sent in before. This means the work will be fairly easy and fast for you to do.

We will also be focusing on two personal elements of Santa’s flight over the next several weeks: your personal home tracking center and, if you choose to do it, a landing zone at your home for Santa and his sleigh.

I’m also contemplating sending out a few prizes in the early going this year. No, I don’t have details of that yet but I wanted to throw it out there that I’m thinking about it. I think it would be fun to have a little contest or two and send out small treasures from the North Pole as souvenirs and thank-you’s for elves who work so hard all year.

What do you think of that idea?

Report Form for Finding Santa

As we promised earlier last week we now have activated a report form so that tracker elves can report possible sightings of Santa.

Finding Santa

This report is a little different. It goes straight to the Finding Santa Trask Force at North Pole Flight Command.

When you send in information via this form it gets added to the database of other information recently gathered about Santa’s possible location.

This allows analysts to compare all the information.

With this mass amount of information, Elf Roger Star, Elf Agent X and other task force leaders can move elf assets from the North Pole Sleigh Fleet, the North Pole Navy, and Flight Command Scout teams to different locations.

We recognize that these reports are mostly tips. Most will likely not pan out. However, all it takes is one good report to move us closer to finding Santa.

We hope you will use this report form frequently. There are NO bad reports!

The News Department will be providing updates at least weekly. Be sure to follow breaking developments at SantaUpdate.com, NorthPoleFlightCommand.com and right here on SantaTrackers.net for ongoing information.

Thank you.

Mrs. Claus Stands in for Santa

Mrs. Claus has taken charge in the absence of Santa Claus while he goes on walkabout. News of Santa’s travels broke at SantaUpdate.com yesterday.

As noted at North Pole Flight Command this morning, Mrs. Claus has set up office at Santa’s Workshop and chosen Elf Trixie to be her Chief of Staff while Santa is gone.

For the Elf Community at SantaTrackers.net, Elf Trixie says that Mrs. Claus will be meeting with Elf Roger Star this next week for an update on the various projects already in progress for the tracker elf community.

As for Elf Trixie, I am her boss in her regular duties, and while serving Mrs. Claus as Chief of Staff I have been told that Trixie will continue in her regular reporting duties for North Pole News and here at SantaTrackers.net.

We have all been told that even though Santa will be absent for a while we can expect things to carry on normally.

Time to Stand Down Sector 5

The bedtime warnings are rolling in and they appear to include most of us. And like clockwork, Flight Command has also sent the word that we can stand down.

Or, as Roger put it, Santa can take it from here. Hahaha.

Thank you guys. What a year!

I hope you have a Merry Christmas and I’ll talk with you soon!

Take care!

One Last Weather Report

I cannot believe how EASY tracking Santa has been this year. So calm. We’ve been eating cookies and chugging eggnog here, just because we’ve been so calm. It’s been fun.

Flight Command, as they have with other sectors, has given us the “send a final weather” update message – which is code for “not much else is going on”. Santa’s ride has been quiet, fast and I think he’s going to break the record. That old sleigh is a SUPERSTAR.

Anyway, I know you’re likely Christmas-Eving wherever you are. If you can take a look out the window and report the weather, I’d appreciate it.

Santa Wants a Local Christmas Report

From Flight Command just a short time ago: Santa wants trackers in Sector 5 – IF they are out and about today – to send in an updated Local Christmas report. If the weather is dangerous please DO NOT venture outside to do this. Santa wants you safe.

This is your Personal Information Number. It validates who you are. See this page.
Click or drag files to this area to upload. You can upload up to 4 files.
Optional. Please share photos of Christmas in your neighborhood

Update the Weather Please

Wow, they are really a little freaked out about our weather. It’s weird, but we’ll keep updating them is this is what they want:

Sector 5 Finally in the Red Zone

Santa launches in just a few hours – and we’re now in the Red Zone. I do not have any new requests but the buzz I’m getting from Flight Command is still about the weather in our sector. I’ll keep you posted.

In the meantime, happy Christmas Eve everybody!

Enjoy Santa’s launch.

Weather Updates for Sector 5

Weather updates are going to be needed a lot in Sector 5, kids. This artic blast is causing some worries about black ice for Santa and the sleigh. Do not be surprise if Flight Command asks us about it a lot for Canada and at least the Northern USA.

We have word that even south Texas and into Mexico there are issues with very bitter cold weather and ice conditions.

Please update us of the ground conditions where you are. Is there ice? Is there snow on the rooftops?

Let’s give Flight Command some specifics if we can.

Trackers Overflowing in Sector 5

Trackers – yeah, I know. We’re in the middle of tracking Santa now. But we got assigned Fridays for our report and I’m going to do it. We head into tonight with a great deal of momentum. Check out these elf counts:

North Pole Tracker Elves: 457,641
Freelance Tracker Elves: 53,668,419
Total Tracker Elves: 54,126,060

A special shoutout to our elves in Canada. They really booked it this week, giving our counts a big boost. Now for the report numbers:

North Pole Tracker Elf Reports: 4,073,005
Freelance Tracker Elf Reports: 370,312,091
Total Tracker Elf Reports: 374,385,096

Guys, I know we have more believers, fans and elves in our Sector than there is in any other. But I’m still so darn proud of you guys!

Now, going forward, don’t expect a ton of requests from me. Pay attention to all the news on Kringle Radio and via SantaUpdate.com. Check our sector news page often. I’m only going to ask you for what Flight Command is asking of me. Most of our reporting is done, except for the last minute stuff they ask us for.

So please pay attention of where Santa is and when he might need something from us.

Trackers in Sector 5 Can Check In

It’s our turn, Sector 5. North Pole Flight Command has sent the word – let’s see who in Sector 5 is paying attention and ready to check in. Do so below:
