WHEREAS Santa Claus, a.k.a. Santa, travels the world every Christmas to visit the homes of believers everywhere, needs elves to assist in this activity and, WHEREAS you, a believer in Santa, want to assist Santa Claus in this endeavor, YOU ARE HEREBY offered, by contract, the position of FREELANCE TRACKER ELF, on the following terms:
- You must live by the ELF CODE, as described at ElfHQ.com
- You must take the ELF OATH, as described at ELFHQ.com
- YOUR employment remains at-will and subject to all rules, laws, obligations, and privileges as bestowed upon all elves working in the service of SANTA CLAUS.
- YOUR WORK as a tracker elf will be conducted from your current residence and as such you remain under the obligation of the established HEAD(S) OF HOUSEHOLD. Your acceptance of this contract constitutes an agreement that as an elf you are not absolved from any current responsibilities, rules, laws or obligations to said HEAD(S) OF HOUSEHOLD and that you will remain compliant to the same.
- YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES as a FREELANCE TRACKER ELF are outlined at the website SANTATRACKERS.NET and are subject to change, revision, re-direction and clarification ongoing under the direction of SANTA CLAUS.
- YOU PLEDGE, VOW and SWEAR allegiance to Santa and the sacred work of his mission to always keep what knowledge you gain of said operations completely confidential.
- YOU ARE OBLIGATED to remain informed of Santa’s needs, the North Pole News and the DIRECTION OF YOUR ELF SUPERVISOR via the official North Pole websites of SANTATRACKERS.NET, NORTHPOLEFLIGHTCOMMAND.COM and SANTAUPDATE.COM.
- YOU ARE CONTRACTED to provide news, information, reports, and observations from your sector upon request from your ELF SUPERVISOR.
- YOUR PERFORMANCE in said capacity will be evaluated over a 90-day period, beginning on the day you register AS A FREELANCE ELF.
- IF YOUR PERFORMANCE is satisfactory over that period of time your ELF SUPERVISOR MAY recommend you to full status as a permanent TRACKER ELF, with access to the ELF COMMUNITY at SantaTrackers.net, thus placing you on a career path to becoming a NORTH POLE ELF.
YOU MUST REGISTER at SantaTrackers.net. That registration will fully validate only after the 90-day evaluation and with the approval of your Elf Supervisor.
THIS CONTRACT terminates on December 26th. If you wish to return to continued service to Santa after that time you will need to re-apply.
