Leon Day signals the halfway mark to Christmas. It is celebrated on June 24th and June 25th, exactly six months before Christmas. Why is is called Leon Day? Leon is Noel, spelled backwards. It is a day of a lot of backwards activity at the North Pole. Elves wear their clothes backwards, they walk backwards and even talk backwards.
