New Elves Will Wait

In Elf Chat today Elf Crash Murphy announced that Elf Roger Star will outline more changes this week that will affect newly signed-on elves at SantaTrackers.net.

According to Crash new elves will have to work in a freelance capacity for at least 90 days and will be required to have their elf supervisor endorsement before being allowed to join the elf community as a North Pole Tracker Elf tracking Santa for Santa. Crash said the idea originated with Elf Moe, who expressed frustrations with recent elf recruits.

Elf Crash Murphy	No. There will be FLIGHTS. Plural. There are 12 prototype sleighs and they all have a different schedule. Too much to cover on the radio. We’re not ready yet in radio-land for that kind of reporting.
elf radar	What kind of response time will we have on our reports when they are requested? I mean our regular reports for Christmas, not those involving test flights.
Elf Ernest	Ok, so you’ll be staying at the North Pole during the test flight period?
Elf Crash Murphy	The response time? What do you mean, Elf Radar?
Elf Crash Murphy	Yes, I’ll be at the North Pole for at least a few weeks. After that, we’ll see.
Elf Ernest	Do we know how heavy of a flight schedule the test flights will have?
elf radar	How long will we have to respond to these reports so they can be used.
Elf Crash Murphy	I’m told it will be around the clock from the get go.
Elf Crash Murphy	Oh, I see what you’re saying. I don’t know the answer to that. Maybe once we get started we can get one of the elf supervisors into a chat to respond to that.

Elf Crash Murphy	I don’t know, Elf Ulan. We really don’t know or get much information about the test flight reindeer. I’ll see if I can find that out.

Elf Crash Murphy	I don’t know yet about this year, but last year at the peak we had more than 6000 test flight reindeer

Elf Crash Murphy	Sometimes, especially if they are recovering from some sort of injury. They use the test flights for rehab
Elf Crash Murphy	But the closer it gets to December the less they are there because Santa doesn’t want any of his A-team to risk injury

Elf Ernest	Crash, what do you think of the idea of sending the other North Pole News Reporters to practice on the test flights?
Elf Crash Murphy	Well, they’d have to become sleigh certified first. Sleigh flight is not for everyone.
Elf Ernest	Is that hard?
elf radar	Do the reindeer have any problems flying in and out of the different climates encountered around the world?
Elf Crash Murphy	I threw up every day for three weeks when I got certified the first time.
Elf Crash Murphy	Good question, Elf Radar. And the answer is THEY CAN have issues in different climates
Elf Crash Murphy	But Santa has established rules for the reindeer to keep them safe
Elf Crash Murphy	His most experienced reindeer know how to adjust. Diet and rest play into it.
Elf Crash Murphy	But reindeer do not care for heat much. Cold, doesn’t affect them. But heat is a problem
Elf Crash Murphy	Again, a lot of this is managed by Reindeer Operations. Those elves work hard.

Elf Crash Murphy	Yes, Weather Tracker. Santa always appreciates water for the reindeer.

Elf Roger Star was in the hot seat today, fulfilling the chat he missed in April to provide an update on the tracker elf program. Elf Roger also took questions today about issues in Flight Command and why Elves Frank and Crash could not get anyone there to talk to them. It was an interesting discussion:

Elf Roger Star	Things are ramping up. But we’re only half way to Christmas. They haven’t even started test flights yet. So there are really no secrets to keep that I know about

Elf Roger Star	This year I will be hosting the press conference on July 11th.

Elf Roger Star	That will be one of many things discussed, yes.
Elf Max	This was talked about a little with Frank and Crash this morning too. Crash said that every year the number has gone up. Do you know if that is true for this year?
Elf Buddy Frost	Elf Roger Star, might I ask what else we might expect to be discussed?

Elf Roger Star	Honestly, no. Santa has not yet discussed a number with me. I’ll be meeting with him several times between now and the 11th.

Elf Roger Star	I believe Santa will be wanting to discuss elf training a lot. There are changes to the program that many experienced elves will need to be trained on and new elves will need to go through Elf University, for sure

Elf GingerHolly	I wanna guess and say maybe 400million this year???
Elf Roger Star	Elf Koby, please spend some time studying what it means to be an elf. There is a lot of material on this website. Other elves will help you. You have lots of time between now and when Santa flies to learn.
Elf Roger Star	My personal belief is that Santa may not give us a number this year. He has told me many times we focus on that number too much.

Elf Roger Star	Santa came away from last year’s flight with mixed emotions. It was a record-breaking flight and it went well. But he was concerned we had so many elves who signed up to be elves but then didn’t help.

Elf Roger Star	We will know the goals, no matter what they are. In terms of focus, I think your Elf Supervisor will play a bigger role this year and that elves will be asked to do things earlier – between Thanksgiving and December 23rd.

Elf Roger Star	I would say to pay attention. The news will be coming fast in July, then we will enter the recruitment and training period. Then instructions come right after Halloween.

Elf Roger Star	I’m not on the test flight team but I was involved in some discussions about this year’s schedule. Santa’s goal every year is to do better than the year before. That means things like design and sleigh performance are important. So they test early to make sure everything is right before Santa flies.
Elf Roger Star	Santa does not fly through houses. That would be dangerous and destructive.

Elf Crash Murphy	Then Santa goes from North to South so often I have to do a costume change every 30 minutes. It’s exhausing

Elf Crash Murphy	Change is the wrong word, Max. It’s more like taking layers off and putting them back on again.
Elf Max	Doesn’t your sleigh have a heater and an air conditioner?
Elf Crash Murphy	Yes, and they work. But switching back and forth as quickly as we do makes it a very busy activity
Elf Crash Murphy	Last year we went from the Marshall Islands to Japan – in minutes.
Elf Crash Murphy	And Japan can get REALLY cold.
Elf Ulan	So fast!
Elf Crash Murphy	Everyone talks about Siberia and that place is cold too. But Japan is surrounded by water….and boy does it get cold there.
Elf Max	Santa follow that north-south pattern his whole flight though
elf radar	Are there issues with jet lag afterwards?
Elf Crash Murphy	Yes, he does – he has to because of the time zones, Max
Elf Crash Murphy	Jet lag? Not really. It’s more that we’re in the sleigh for 35+ hours or so.

Elf Taylor was there, as was Elf Radar, Elf Ulan, Elf Sugar Cookie and Elf Crusader. Elf Crash Murphy was there and the event was hosted by Elf Ernest.

Elf Chat featured a visit from the head of the Department of Elf Resources, Elf Sandy Claus. Sandy just got back from the Elf Supervisor’s Meeting in Costa Rica, an event that figured a little in our chat about new elf jobs. There are several new jobs that Sandy told us about. Changes to Points and Ranks Coming

Today in Elf Chat major changes to points and ranks were announced by Elf Max. The chat recap is below.

The changes to the program are driven by Santa, who wants points and ranks to focus more on our mission of tracking Santa for Santa. Here are some highlights Elf Max announced:

Elf ranks will stay the same as they are now. However, points assigned based on activities everyone does on the website will be redefined
Two new kinds of points were announced. Tracker Skill points and Santa Skill points.
Tracker Skill points focus on your elf activities tracking Santa. There will be points, ranks and badges for your tracking skills. Since the information we all send to Flight Command comes from reports the big focus in this area will be on the reports we send. Lots of new kinds of reports coming too.
Santa Skill points are a little more mysterious. These are points that will be given to you by Santa himself. These are recognition for special efforts and contributions that go above and beyond. There will be points, ranks and badges for this category, too.
A new feature called Gift was announced that will allow an elf to give some of his or her points to another elf.
A new feature that Max calls “coupons” will give points for participating in special or one-time events.

Max explained that this change to the program will likely take him a month of working in phases to roll out. Elves will need to be paying attention during this time frame if they are concerned about losing the points they already have gained.

Elf Roger Star	Just for the ease of our chat today, please understand that Elf Max and I will talk for an extended time, then we will open things up for your questions.
Elf Roger Star	I ask that you please just write your questions down and then hang on to them until Max and I complete our discussion of this, okay?
Elf Roger Star	Max, can you tell us what this change this new program does?
Elf Crusader	Yessir
Elf Max	Hi. Yes. The new system will help us focus efforts on our mission better
Elf Max	Right now, our points system is what they call “vertical”.
Elf Max	You get points for just doing stuff on the website.
Elf Max	Things like logging in, posting on the Elf Wall, liking things, etc. get you points
Elf Max	As you gain points you move up in the ranks
Elf Max	As you move up you get badges for certain kinds of achievements
Elf Max	This system has served us well
Elf Max	But Santa now feels it is time to improve it by focusing our activity on the more on our jobs as trackers
Elf Roger Star	Ok, how do we do that?
Elf Max	We do that by splitting our points achievements into different types. Going forward, we will get points just as we have in the past by being active on the website. But now we have two NEW ways to get points that we didn’t before. We will have points for Tracker Skills and points for Santa Skills.
Elf Roger Star	Oooooh that sounds interesting. What are Tracker Skills?
Elf Max	Tracker Skills are the things we do to help Santa track Santa.
Elf Max	Our key role as a tracker is to send information to North Pole Flight Command, right?
Elf Max	Going forward, you will get points for every time that you do that.
Elf Max	For example, if you go to the updated Tracker Reports page you will see several new report types. Each report carries a point value. Every time you send in a report, you get a certain amount of points. So, obviously, the more you send in reports the more you will move up in your total points.
Elf Roger Star	Okay, that makes sense. But is it all about just sending in more reports? Won’t that make it so that trackers can just inflate their points by just randomly sending in reports?
Elf Max	No. Just because you send in a report will mean that you get points for it. You can send it reports all day long but if they don’t make sense they don’t count. You have to really know how reports work in order to get the points for them.
Elf Roger Star	What does that mean?
Elf Max	When you send in a report it goes first to the office of your Elf Supervisor. The staff in that office opens your report and grades it on several things. Did the Elf Supervisor ask for the report?
Elf Max	Is the report pertinent to what Santa’s needs are right now?
Elf Max	Is the report complete?
Elf Max	Is it useful?
Elf Max	In all, there are 22 criteria each report must meet before points are awarded for it. If you meet all the criteria you get all the points. If you meet just some of it, you only get partial points.
Elf Roger Star	Wow.
Elf Max	If it is what they call a “lazy report” where only a few of the criteria is met, you likely wouldn’t get any points.
Elf Max	So your work in tracking Santa for Santa will really be getting a lot of attention on quality. You have to be really paying attention to move up in Tracker Skill ranks.
Elf Roger Star	So there’s new ranks, too?
Elf Max	There are new ranks specifically for Tracker Skills. Your tracker skills will then convert over to your overall points and push you up in your elf rank overall.
Elf Roger Star	So this really focuses things in a whole new way.
Elf Max	Yes, one of Santa’s biggest goals is to make us better tracker elves. So we are going to be laser focused on those reports and listening to what Elf Supervisors are requesting.
Elf Roger Star	So will these new Tracker Skills ranks be added to the Top Elves page?
Elf Max	Yes, you will be able to see your ranks in Tracker Skills displayed in line with your overall Elf rank.
Elf Roger Star	Ok, so points on one side like its always been for site activity and points on another for tracking Santa stuff. That seems to make sense.
Elf Max	Yes, but there is yet another point type to talk about. We call them Santa points.
Elf Roger Star	Ooooh. What’s that?
Elf Max	Well, Santa wanted a way to award elves he sees making special efforts and contributions.
Elf Roger Star	What kind of efforts or contributions?
Elf Max	Well, that’s up to Santa. He doesn’t want to be too specific with the category because he wants elves to act on their own initiative.
Elf Roger Star	What does that mean?
Elf Max	Well, he gave me an example. Elf Lil Cream was the first of our community to set up her own podcast. Santa says that was “above and beyond”.
Elf Max	Santa says that shows creativity, enthusiasm, Christmas spirit, initiative and a real desire to do good. He wants to recognize elves who things like that.
Elf Max	Points for this will be awarded by Santa. So to will the ranks and the badges in this category. You won’t be able to just go and do something on the site to get these points.
Elf Max	You’ve got to get Santa’s attention.
Elf Roger Star	Wow, these are some really gold standard points.
Elf Max	Yes, and Santa tells me he will be very generous.
Elf Roger Star	Ok, so points and ranks for Elf stuff, points and ranks for Tracker stuff, and points and ranks for Santa stuff.
Elf Max	That’s it in a nutshell. But there’s more.
Elf Roger Star	More points?
Elf Max	Well, kinda.
Elf Roger Star	What do you mean?
Elf Max	We will be introducing new features that could lead to new points. There are two of them.
Elf Max	The first is called Gift. Elves will soon be able to give points to other elves for whatever reason.
Elf Roger Star	Why would any elf want to give away their points? Won’t that cost them?
Elf Max	It might. But Santa wants this capability because he wants elves to help other elves.
Elf Max	Santa explained that the spirit of giving is “learned when it is earned”, meaning that the more we give the more we receive.
Elf Max	Santa says that sacrifice is an important part of giving. That when we give up things to others at the expense of ourselves we learn the real gift is given to us. He calls it the essence of Christmas.
Elf Roger Star	That sounds complicated. Do you think Santa will offer us some sort of explanation himself?
Elf Max	Yes, I talked about this with him and Elf Ernest at the same time.
Elf Max	And Ernest pretty much asked the same thing you just did. He was really concerned about elves understanding it.
Elf Roger Star	Oh, okay. If Ernest is on the job then we’re going to see a lot about this topic.
Elf Max	Yes. The purposes for our discussion here is to just introduce the feature
Elf Roger Star	Ok, so gifting points will be a thing. If an elf needs some points to get to a new level it will be possible for another elf to help him or her out, right?
Elf Max	Yes, that’s a good example. But you could give points for any reason you want.
Elf Roger Star	Ok. Interesting.
Elf Max	We have another new feature that for right now I’m calling coupons.
Elf Roger Star	Ok. What is that?
Elf Max	It will be random point opportunities that will be made available by redeeming a coupon. We will have special point opportunities that may be different than the norm and to get those points you have to do whatever the activity is and then “redeem” the coupon.
Elf Roger Star	Can you give an example?
Elf Max	Sure, let’s take a look at Toyvember, for example. We have had a few elves participate in that. If we had coupons set up we could have said “turn in your drawing when you redeem this coupon using the code Toyvember”. Then the elf would have received points for that.
Elf Roger Star	Okay, so one time events? Like participation points
Elf Max	Yes, I think in most cases. But Santa says he wants to get creative with this, so expect different things.
Elf Roger Star	Ok, so when does all this stuff begin?
Elf Max	Well, Santa gave me until Christmas in July to get this going. But this is big. I have to do it in stages.
Elf Roger Star	Ok – so what can we expect?
Elf Max	Well this is a total rebuild of the system. Part of doing this will be wiping out all the points and ranks and badges as we have them right now.
Elf Roger Star	Holy smokes. Everyone loses their ranks?
Elf Max	Only temporarily. I will be sending out updates on this for each phase of the changeover. Things might look a little weird for short periods of time. And that might feel painful.
Elf Roger Star	Okay. I think we can be patient to get all this new stuff.
Elf Max	I hope so. I will be sending out in advance warnings when certain things will happen. I will be folding over old points into the new system but there will be a brief period where everyone will be unranked and have zero points. I don’t want any panic when that happens.
Elf Roger Star	So their points will still be there?
Elf Max	Yes, but the entire system is being rebuilt. I don’t know yet if the new system will have the same point value as the old ranks did. That’s because we have so many new ways to be getting points.
Elf Roger Star	Meaning what? That 100 points won’t be worth 100 points any more?
Elf Max	Kind of. Right now, to get Altair ranked as an elf you need 5000 points. There might be a new level, say 10,000 points, to get that rank going forward. If that happens we need to make adjustments to the points for value.
Elf Max	The idea here is that we don’t just throw away the past five years of point accomplishments. We need to have a way to keep the levels we have while adopting the new system we want.
Elf Roger Star	Sounds complicated.
Elf Max	It is. But we want everyone to pay attention. There will come a day, probably soon, where I will say “write down your points”.
Elf Max	I am backing up the current system. I will be keeping a record of what points everyone has. I will know what their old points were. I want THEM to know how many points they had though.
Elf Roger Star	So elves would be wise to be paying attention then.
Elf Max	Yes, that’s my number one worry. Those who aren’t paying attention are not going to understand. We have a ton of elves who are not here and may never see this unfolding. I can’t do anything about them. But those elves who are here I want them to know what’s happening.
Elf Roger Star	Sounds good. Will all this be explained in Elf University for new elves?
Elf Max	You know what? I thought to do that too so I wrote all this stuff and then Santa told me NOT to include it.
Elf Roger Star	He did? Why?
Elf Max	Because he doesn’t want elves chasing points. Santa says that if we put out something that shows exactly where every point comes from then we’ll have elves trying to game the system by doing only those things that give them big points.
Elf Roger Star	Oh, yes. I’ve seen it. Does that mean the Elf History will go away in their profiles?
Elf Max	No, Santa thinks it is important to be transparent about points earned, he just doesn’t want to emphasize points for the sake of points. He wants elves to do the right things.
Elf Max	If an elf does the right things the points will come.
Elf Max	But Santa is more concerned with meeting the mission and developing stronger elves.

The North Pole Schedule was the topic of a chat with Elf Ernest, Senior Vice President of Public Relations at the North Pole. The chat was held with Elf Ernest and Elf Max on Saturday, October 9 in Elf Chat.

The purpose of the chat was to answer some questions that had come in about planned events at the North Pole and to review the general information about the event themselves.

This is a very busy time of year at the North Pole. Not only are all preparations being made for Santa’s flight but production is ramped up in Santa’s workshop, the reindeer are in training, and elves everywhere are getting ready for Operation Merry Christmas.

Here is that discussion, rich with details about the North Pole Halloween Party especially:

Elf Max	Hi Ernest, thanks for being here today
Elf Max	Our chat will discuss the schedule at the North Pole in the coming weeks
Elf Max	Just so everyone knows, I will briefly discuss this with Elf Ernest
Elf Max	Then we will open the chat up for whatever questions folks might have
Elf Ernest	Thanks, Max
Elf Max	Ernest, we have a calendar, so why is this discussion happening today?
Elf Ernest	Well, we do publish what is coming up but I think they sometimes generate a lot of questions
Elf Max	So today we’re going to work on answers to those questions?
Elf Ernest	Yeah. It’s the little stuff you can’t put on the calendar. I think the North Pole Halloween Party and the Elf Parade are the ones generating most of the questions
Elf Max	Ah, I get it now.
Elf Max	So where do we begin?
Elf Ernest	Well, there are a number of chats – some already on the calendar, and several yet to be added
Elf Max	Yes, I think Elf Sandy Claus is the headliner at North Pole Chat this month
Elf Ernest	Yes, that’s right. That has been on the calendar for a long time. She will be chatting about elf jobs
Elf Max	Right – a lot of people have questions!
Elf Ernest	Yes, as we expected. Sandy is super busy so this will be a great time to catch her
Elf Max	Ok, so the chats are going to increase in frequency. Good to know. What else is coming up?
Elf Ernest	Well, the big Halloween Party is happening at the North Pole again.
Elf Max	Yes, that’s a big news item and popular event. Why would tracker elves want to know about it?
Elf Ernest	Well, it’s impossible for them to join the party, cause it’s at the North Pole, but you wouldn’t believe the questions we get
Elf Max	Oh, like what?
Elf Ernest	Just the fun stuff, you know, like the costumes certain elves are making or wearing
Elf Max	Maybe we should do a chat with some of those elves to talk about it?
Elf Ernest	We might. We also are kicking around the idea of maybe a special Halloween episode of the North Pole Podcast
Elf Max	Ok. What else besides costumes do they want to know about?
Elf Ernest	Well, the party itself. They know about the annual food fight but they want more details about other stuff
Elf Max	Like what?
Elf Ernest	The games and the activities
Elf Max	Ok…can you give me an example of one of those?
Elf Ernest	Well, we bob for snowballs.
Elf Max	You…wait, WHAT?
Elf Ernest	Yeah, it’s different but it’s a scream
Elf Max	It sounds cold. How does it work?
Elf Ernest	Well it starts with a big tub of hot chocolate…
Elf Max	Huh?
Elf Ernest	Yeah, we put snowballs in it and elves have to fish them out before they melt. You get an elf on either side and the one who fishes out the most snowballs wins.
Elf Max	But…sticking their faces in HOT chocolate? Won’t that burn?
Elf Ernest	It’s not that hot….it’s merely warm. And a little sticky
Elf Max	Ok, now that’s a very different Halloween game. I like it!
Elf Ernest	It’s very popular. Almost as popular as the limbo contest
Elf Max	I have heard about that.
Elf Ernest	The limbo contest is very traditional. It’s how low you can go and elves just love to compete in it
Elf Max	The Halloween Party at the North Pole is always big. But Halloween this year is on a Sunday, I think
Elf Ernest	Yes, good point. The party is on Saturday. And the elves working Santa’s sleigh will take a break and come home for that weekend.
Elf Max	Ok, we look forward to the news coverage of the Halloween party. What happens next?
Elf Ernest	Well, that period between Halloween and Thanksgiving is really the big time for decorating homes at the North Pole
Elf Max	Oh yeah, I forgot about that
Elf Ernest	Yeah, it’s a quiet time, a little bit, because elves are in their homes, stringing lights and putting up trees but trying to hide what they are doing from everyone else
Elf Max	Why are they hiding?
Elf Ernest	Well, on Thanksgiving evening there’s a contest
Elf Ernest	Santa goes on walkabout and the entire village goes with him to see all the homes and the lights
Elf Ernest	There’s a prize for the best decorated
Elf Max	Oh I see
Elf Ernest	Yeah, if there’s a competition elves are all over it.
Elf Max	Yeah. I’d be the same way
Elf Ernest	But that’s really the end of a very long and fun day at the North Pole
Elf Max	Yes, I’m learning that people want to know more
Elf Ernest	Thanksgiving Day begins with the Elf Parade. Which is a HUGE deal
Elf Max	Yes, lots of questions about that, Ernest. Many elves around the world want to participate
Elf Ernest	They will get their chance. We are going to hold a little contest for elves out there who want to dress up, decorate their trikes or bikes, and upload their pictures or videos to SantaUpdate.com
Elf Max	Oh, that sounds fun!
Elf Ernest	Yes, we’d love to see how creative our remote elves can be with this
Elf Ernest	You know, Santa started this parade many, many years ago as a way for the elves to have some fun during a pretty stressful time
Elf Ernest	And they do that, it’s very much an event with a lot of creativity, lots of smiles and good laughs
Elf Max	It sounds like a ton of fun. Will there be radio coverage from the parade this year?
Elf Ernest	Yes, and we’re looking at ways to make it more detailed – maybe a radio show instead of just a news report this year
Elf Max	Oh wow, that would be cool
Elf Ernest	Yeah, we’re talking to the news guys about it. Nothing official to announce yet but maybe we’ll have something soon
Elf Max	Very exciting!
Elf Max	What happens between the Elf Parade and the walkabout with Santa?
Elf Ernest	Well, there’s the big North Pole Thanksgiving luncheon, you know, turkey with all the trimmings.
Elf Max	Of course! Duh….
Elf Max	What about the next day?
Elf Ernest	The next day is what is sometimes referred to as the launch of Operation Merry Christmas
Elf Ernest	Early, early in the morning in Santa’s workshop there’s a little ceremony
Elf Ernest	High at the top of the ceiling in the atrium is a giant clock
Elf Ernest	On day #1 of Operation Merry Christmas, the day after Thanksgiving, that clock begins a long descent…dropping a little each day until Santa launches
Elf Ernest	By the time launch day arrives the clock is just about at eye level for most workshop workers
Elf Max	Why in the workshop? Why doesn’t this happen, say, out in the village?
Elf Ernest	Well, this is a very very old tradition at the workshop. Back in the day the workshop is where EVERYTHING happened. The mailroom was in there, the wrapping was done in there, and the sleigh was built in there
Elf Max	Oh wow. I had no idea
Elf Ernest	Yeah, so when it was all together the clock kind of was the center of focus for everyone
Elf Ernest	But of course each of these departments have grown and have moved out of the workshop as the population of the world has changed things for us
Elf Max	Do other departments have clocks too? Even if they are separate?
Elf Ernest	Actually, in a nod to modern technology, they have web cams
Elf Max	Seriously?
Elf Ernest	Yes, the clock is continually shown on big screens in every department. Even North Pole Flight Command works from that little web cam image
Elf Max	That’s really amazing
Elf Ernest	Again, just one of those little details
Elf Max	After that weekend…is that pretty much it for events at the North Pole?
Elf Ernest	Well, no – there are lots of little events that happen in the run up to Christmas. Traditional stuff like concerts
Elf Ernest	There is a production of A Christmas Carol that runs on the Village Stage
Elf Max	What’s the Village Stage?
Elf Ernest	It’s our local theater
Elf Max	Oh
Elf Ernest	There is a devotional at the North Pole Chapel on the Sunday before Christmas which is also really traditional
Elf Ernest	But honestly, once that clock starts dropping we’re all focused on one thing and that’s getting Santa’s sleigh off the ground
