New Tracker Elf Resources Coming Soon

Elf UpdateGreetings, Elves!

Now that we have passed the 100 day mark to launch it is time to focus on recruiting, training and organizing of the Tracker Elf Nation, as I like to call you. Here are some things you can look forward to in the weeks ahead:

Tracker Elf Training

It’s one thing to become an elf, take the oath, learn the code and take on your elf name. That’s all done at ElfHQ.com, courtesy of the Department of Elf Resources. That’s the easy part. The fact you are all here is proof that you have done that.

Now comes the harder part: actually doing elf stuff. That will take some time to learn. We are developing online courses for you to work on over the months of October and November. These courses will teach you how to prepare for the things you need to do before and during Santa’s  flight.

New Communication Tools Exclusive to Trackers

This website is private, an exclusive place for elves and elves alone. What you do here is between you and the North Pole. As you may have seen on the other Official North Pole websites the North Pole Post Office has put up special capabilities for improved communication with the North Pole. That same kind of thing is coming here, too.

Also, you may have noticed that JingleKringle.com, an Official North Pole website, launched their Tracking Santa By Text features last week. We as elves will likewise have our own text features for use this Christmas. That announcement is coming soon.

Tracker Group Announcements

Also, at North Pole Flight Command we are accepting applications from Tracker groups who run websites or social media channels to make use of Santa tracker maps, news feeds and radio streams for their Christmas tracking activities. Our first announcements of those groups will be coming soon and that news will be shared here. You’ll see them around, for sure.

So it is an exciting time to be an elf. I hope you check in often.

Tracker-Only Text Connection to the North Pole

Greetings, Trackers!

North Pole Flight Command is pleased to announce a new feature for Santa Tracker elves only: your own private text connection to the North Pole.

Text is a growing communication medium for Santa Trackers. Since many of you track Santa on-the-go on Christmas Eve it isn’t always possible to send in reports from a phone. Text will allow you to communicate with the North Pole in a brief fashion.

Text also presents some opportunities for the North Pole to communicate with Santa Trackers as well. While most information will be conveyed by way of this website texting might be used by the North Pole on Christmas Eve if it is needed.

We remind you that we are still subject and will be complying with laws in all countries as it relates to communicating with minors online. We have many trackers elves under the age of 18 working for Santa. So texts cannot and will not be personalized when or if we send any out. But we can send texts to large groups of trackers and now run afoul of the law. Any texts we send out will be of this nature.

If you want to take advantage of this feature, please text the word TRACKER to 43506. You can control your access to this service via your phone after you sign up.

A word of warning: Tracking Santa is an event that runs for more than 35 hours. You MIGHT get texts at odd hours about where Santa is and what he might need.

If you have questions, please post them in the comments below.

Thank you trackers for all you do!

We Need More Elves

Hello Trackers!

Next week the North Pole kicks off Operation Merry Christmas. Even though you are not at the North Pole you can still participate.

Operation Merry Christmas is basically the effort we all engage in year round to get Santa off the ground. Our job is to get him out on time and around the world before everyone wakes up on Christmas morning.

It sounds like an easy thing but it is actually very complex.

That is why Santa wants a total of 20 million tracker elves this year.

We have, as of this morning, a little bit more than 12 million tracker elves.

We knew this would be a difficult thing to do. We knew most of our new elves this year would come after December 1st. We also knew we couldn’t do it without your help.

How can you help us get more elves? Let’s count the ways.

  1. Tell your parents and ask them for their ideas.
  2. Talk to your friends and give them the link to this site.
  3. If you are on social media, talk about the need and send people here to SantaTrackers.net
  4. Send in your ideas to the North Pole about recruiting more elves.

I will do my best to keep you informed of our progress. I will also be sending out some instructions this next week about what you need prepare in order to Track Santa 4 Santa this year. We will be asking those of you who are able to send in photos of your Christmas tree and your own home tracking center. We need your ideas and input.

Thank you for your support of Santa and the North Pole.
