Job Description: A City Captain Elf is given charge over the geographical operations of the city in which they live. As such, they may be contacted by the North Pole to assist in leading Operation Merry Christmas for Santa Claus and the North Pole in the months, weeks and days leading up to Christmas.
The City Captain assumes responsibility for local recruiting efforts of new elves and in communicating, training and executing elf operations locally.
UPDATE: The position of City Captain can be claimed by any elf on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no interview process for this job. Please be advised that starting with the 2022 tracking season, effective July 1st, City Captains will be directed by Elf Supervisors to send in periodic reports. These brief reports are intended to communication general local conditions and plans a City Captain might have for recruiting, training and supporting new elves.
Reports from City Captains will count towards your Elf Supervisor ratings. By claiming this elf job you are making a commitment to file these reports in a timely fashion and to complete them as requested.
Experience Required: 1 year as a Santa Tracker elf, familiar with SantaTrackers.net. This position is not open to Freelance Elves. Applicant must be an active member of the Elf Community at SantaTrackers.net. The 1st Class Elf requirement may be waived upon the discretion of the Department of Elf Resources.
