What is the difference between a FREELANCE Elf and a NORTH POLE Elf?

It’s a choice – an elf career choice!

A freelance elf works right where they live. They are not employees of Santa or of the North Pole – they are contractors. That means they have an agreement to track Santa for Santa but they work on their own. A freelance elf can:

• Register with the North Pole
• Follow the news of Santa
• Get direction from Elf Supervisors about what Santa needs
• Send in a report as necessary and able
• APPLY TO BECOME A FREELANCE ELF

A North Pole Elf does all of the above. But, they become an employee of Santa and they work as any other elf from the North Pole does. On this website, a North Pole Elf can:

• Join and participate in the Elf Community
• Talk to and get to know other elves at the North Pole
• Get added elf jobs and responsibilities
• Join in elf-specific North Pole Chats
• Have access to insider information about the North Pole and how it works
• Get on a career path that leads to elf life at the North Pole
