As announced earlier today by North Pole Flight Command, the regional tracking center for Sector 1 will be located this year in the city of Bethlehem, New Zealand.
Never has such an announcement been made this early.
This means our tracking efforts begin earlier than ever.
Why? I honestly don’t know. But I have some theories.
Last year with the Coronavirus I think Santa missed out on visiting a lot of places before Christmas. He got around our Sector pretty good last year on Christmas but he really missed seeing people.
I think we’re going to see Santa hit the road in a big way this year and I think tracker elves will be pressed into duty early and often this year.
I cannot think of any other reason why we would be starting so early.
In an event, I’m excited. We’re going to need to get organized early. That means City Captains – lots of them. I’ve set up a group for trackers in the Elf area of Santa Trackers. I’ll be posting more information there.
Thank you for the announcement! It’s great that there is going to be a new tracking center for Sector one!
