Elf Retirements

Every month we review activity in the Elf Community and retire elves who have not been active in the past 90 days. I am doing that this weekend.

As part of this process, we also check with the Elf Supervisors about Junior Tracker Elves who can be promoted in to the North Pole Elf Community. This is the first month of eligibility for such promotions. I am uncertain if we have any Junior Trackers who qualify yet, but we’re very excited for this new process.

We make this effort every month to keep the community safe, current and fresh.

Those who have not been active for the past 90-days are put in “retired” status. That means their accounts are locked down but can be returned to active status by communicating via the site support link.

If another 90-day period passes without hearing from those elves it is assumed they are unable or unwilling to continue their elf career and we then delete their accounts and remove their names from the rolls of tracker elves.

About this Elf: Elf Moe

For years Elf Moe was an anchor in the Shipping Department at the North Pole. That's a tough job. It entails making sure that the right names get on the right packages before Santa delivers them. Not a lot of people want that job because it is so detailed. Moe did it for years. That's why Elf Moe now has the job he does: Elf Moe works in the North Pole Complaint Department. If someone want to complain about anything, Moe's the guy to see. He has a very difficult job.
