Organize Yourself

Let’s Get It Together

Elves of Sector 5, both freelance and North Pole elves —

We’re getting swamped with new elf sign-ups, both of freelance and North Pole elves. I’m talking MILLIONS.

In an effort to get you all on track PLEASE do the following right away:

  1. Read this post from Elf Crash, International Director of Santa Trackers.
  2. Have a good home tracking center set up. We do not instruct how to do this. We just encourage you to stay organized.
  3. Send in a weekly weather report, either on Friday or Saturday. This is VERY important and it runs until Santa launches.
  4. Next week is Thanksgiving, and that’s when the Elf Parade is happening. If you’re decorating your own trike, bike, etc. we’re going to ask you post pictures.
  5. Things are about to go crazy, Christmas and Santa’s launch will be here before you know it. If you can check in every day.

If you can attend the scheduled chats, please do so. There will be more chats scheduled, including one with me at some point soon. If you have times/days that are best for you, don’t be afraid to leave that in the comments below.

Are you paying attention? Have you been to Elf University? Do you know your job as a tracker elf?

Let’s pay attention!

About this Elf: Elf Pinky Verified Elf Santa's Council Member Sector 5 Elf Supervisor
Elf Pinky was recruited from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1992 and has since served as an instructor in sleigh flight theory at the North Pole Institute of Aviation. She worked very hard to earn her elf credentials, working a second shift first as a tool repair technician in Santa’s workshop and then as an engineer in the Wrapping Department designing wrapping machines. Pinky in recent years was a recruiter and trainer of sleigh test pilots and flies under the call sign Barracuda. Last year she served as a Flight Operations Director and demonstrated outstanding judgment and maturity in her duties supervising more than 400 elves, pilots, reindeer handlers and sleigh freighters.

HI this is Elf puffy, I am still working things out but I would like to say that sunday’s are not the best days, for me, for chats that I would like to attend at some point. Thank you

mistletoe

I noticed that I didn’t get this post for Nov.18 until today Nov.19. I think it might be a time difference? This is the first time I have seen where we are to send in weather reports weekly. Usually the info says don’t send in certain reports until asked to do so. I hope I didn’t miss something but I’ll be on it from now on. There is a lot to learn in a short time before Santa’s launch but I’m working on it and I love my job.
Thanks Elf Pinky

Elf Ulan

Thank you, Elf Pinky! I hope all new elves read this and follow what their Sector supervisor said about which weekday they want you to send weekly reports. I’m looking forward to seeing you all in chats! Merry Christmas!

ElfBlaze

Sundays and Saturday afternoons are best for me! Wednesday nights are also ok!

I usually available anytime, I just have physical therapy Mondays and Fridays of a morning.

Peppermint

I hope the sessions are going well! I had some physical therapy myself after I broke my leg and femur!

Peppermint

Will do! I can’t do Sunday because at my church, they’re hosting a Christmas play, and I’m working the play, so I’m going to be at my church from 9 a.m until 2 p.m, and then I have practice from 3 p.m to 7 p.m, and then the rest of the evening is family time. I’ll do my best to report on Fridays or Saturdays though!
