Trackers

Hold On There, Trackers

Trackers – I just got a news flash from Flight Command. As of right now – Sector 5, which is not even checking in yet – leads the WORLD in a metric we call Tracker Error Rate.

You know what that is? That’s elves in MY SECTOR checking in in OTHER SECTORS. In other words, you’re not following instructions. And it’s killing my scores, guys.

I hate to bust your chops.

I mean, after all, we ARE the biggest Sector in the number of elves by maybe ten times. That means we have more new elves than anyone else. That means we’re going to make more mistakes that anyone else.

But c’mon.

Elf Crusader told you guys to cool it and check in tomorrow. Well, ok, it’s just a few hours away but still, he TOLD YOU not to check in until it is time. But some of you are doing it anyway.

Look – see the big picture at the top of this post?

Those are our colors. Big red message area. A nice green bottom border that says “Sector 5 News”.

If you go to the news page you see that same red color is what we use for our Sector-specific page. Any time I post something for Sector 5 it is ALWAYS in this beautiful color-coded way. Red and Green. Nice Christmas colors.

When you see that, then do that.

If you see blue or purple or any other color combination you can assume it’s NOT for Sector 5.

Check in is coming up. Let’s see if we can get this right.

It all matters now. The eyes of Flight Command are on us.

About this Elf: Elf Pinky Verified Elf Santa's Council Member Sector 5 Elf Supervisor
Elf Pinky was recruited from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1992 and has since served as an instructor in sleigh flight theory at the North Pole Institute of Aviation. She worked very hard to earn her elf credentials, working a second shift first as a tool repair technician in Santa’s workshop and then as an engineer in the Wrapping Department designing wrapping machines. Pinky in recent years was a recruiter and trainer of sleigh test pilots and flies under the call sign Barracuda. Last year she served as a Flight Operations Director and demonstrated outstanding judgment and maturity in her duties supervising more than 400 elves, pilots, reindeer handlers and sleigh freighters.

Elf Crusader

Yes ma’am. I did tell them to wait. However, I just saw your post for the go ahead, so I will update the elves in our sector accordingly

Elf weather tracker

I had even let everyone in my group know that our Sector needed to wait until we got word to start checking in. Good job Crusader.
