Progress in Sector 1

Progress in Sector 1

Our tracker counts in September took a massive jump from 75,391 to 853,487. The weather, I believe, has been so active that it has drawn attention to our cause.

We have seen very good growth particularly in Australia. But honestly, every area of the sector is pretty far ahead of where we were just a year ago. I think we have a very good chance of having a larger pool of tracker elves in 2026 if this trend can continue.

Our needs in Sector 1, besides more elves, continue to be focused on the weather.

I would like to see more test flights in our area somewhere but that doesn’t look likely any time soon. I have talk to Flight Command about that and they said the development of sleigh is a higher priority than training our sleigh flight controllers this year, so I don’t know if we’ll see the test flights back in our region this year.

Nothing I can do about that.

There is some talk about expanding the North Pole Navy in the Pacific. The vast areas of open ocean make this a possibility especially if this active weather continues into December. I will keep you posted if I hear more about this.

In terms of reports, aside from what Crash said the other day, I am only concerned with active weather reports coming in from your local area about twice a week. We might dial it in to something more specific in December, but I will wait on instruction from Flight Command for that.

You’re doing a great job! Thank you for your efforts.
