Santa's Announcement
/

In a press conference held at the North Pole today Santa made a stunning announcement about the recruiting goal for Santa tracker elves in 2021. The press conference was held at the North Pole Special Events Center and it was presented in typical North Pole no-frills fashion.

In this special episode Elf Frank Myrrh of North Pole Radio News talks to Elf Roger Star, International Director of Santa Trackers, to Elf Sandy Claus of the Department of Elf Resources, Elf John Pringle, Associate Director of the News Department at the North Pole and his broadcast partner, Elf Crash Murphy, about what the announcement means for the various departments of the North Pole.

The People Tracking Department is the subject of this new episode of the Santa Trackers Podcast.

Elf Gordon Greer, a database administrator in the People Tracking Department, explains the many lists about people kept by the North Pole. Of course, the subject of the “Naughty List” came up during this conversation and Elf Gordon straightens us out about that.

But the work of this department is endless. Basically, Santa needs them to keep track of people — where they live, what their situations are and whether or not they even believe in Santa any more. It’s pretty sobering the kind of stuff this department needs to keep track of.

This whole episode just proves that the kind of tracking at the North Pole being done is not just limited to tracking Santa.

A Chat with Elf Crusader

I had a chat with Elf Crusader this weekend that fired me up.

Elf Crusader is a true believer. That is such an important part of being an elf. He not only works for Santa, he loves the guy and believes in everything that Santa stands for.

Elf Crusader is 28.

I know. Pretty rare, right? Here’s a guy who is a Millennial – and he believes in Santa. God bless him.

We talk a bit about what that is like. It is common for those of any age who profess belief in Santa to suffer from a bit of bullying. It’s happened to Crusader, and it happens to me all the time.

That is what makes his story so remarkable.

We encourage you to listen to Elf Crusader and what he thinks.

The Santa Tracker Tracking Department

The Santa Tracker Tracking Department is a little subdivision of the Tracking Department. You thought the Tracking Department only tracked Santa, eh? Well, think again. It tracks all kinds of stuff. We will have several episodes of the Santa Tracker Podcast that explores all the tracking work of the Tracking Department.

This is an important one.

There are, after all, a lot of famous Santa Tracker places out there. Most are now online. Many use social media.

The problem is almost none of them agree. Most of them are inaccurate. And an elf should never use a Santa Tracker that is not North Pole Authorized.

This podcast episode is a discussion with Elf Curly Bennion, an elf who specializes in tracking Santa Tracker sites. He gets very candid about NORAD and Google and other big name trackers out there.

This can’t miss episode shares why you need to check your sources if you’re going to track Santa correctly.

The Santa Tracker Podcast is a podcast by Santa Trackers for Santa Trackers. In fact, in the course of doing the podcast we hope to speak with Santa Tracker elves from all over the world.

In this first episode Elf Frank Myrrh of North Pole Radio News talks with Elf Crash Murphy, considered by some to be the Ultimate Santa Tracker. Crash is a news reporter who flies behind Santa on Christmas Eve and reports on what he sees.

Frank explains how Elf Crash Murphy was Santa’s inspiration for launching the Santa Tracker program, which last year grew to more than 55 million elves.

He also showcases the work of Elf Lil Cream of the Creamy Christmas Podcast, a Santa tracker podcasting for Santa fans all over the world.

In all, this episode is the beginning of Santa tracking for your ears – a suitable companion to the website known as SantaTrackers.net.

Elves Frank Myrrh and Crash Murphy finally get in the studios of Kringle Radio to put together a new podcast episode, this time talking about what happens at the North Pole after Christmas.

It is a great insight into the life of elves in the moments just after Santa gets back to the North Pole.

This episode also features a little tidbit or two about what’s happening here at SantaTrackers.net.

It’s a good introduction to the North Pole Podcast for elves who don’t know about it. Plus, it will help you with the NEW podcast that will be making it’s debut right here on SantaTrackers.net very soon — a podcast for elves ABOUT elves. Coming soon!

Elf Training #13 - The Red Zone

Elf TrainingGreetings, Elves!

Today’s training is all about the Red Zone.

The world never stops spinning. Time marches on. When one part of the world awakens to a new day, the other part of the world is heading into the darkness of night.

Come Christmas we mark this passage of time when each sector enters what we call the Red Zone.

The Red Zone is when a sector enters into the day of Christmas Eve. The Red Zone runs from midnight local time of Christmas Eve morning until Santa calls for bedtime on Christmas Eve night.

The Red Zone is kind of like a rallying cry for Santa Tracker Elves. It’s when we get to do the real work we sign up to do — tracking Santa for Santa. Here is a North Pole Radio report from last Christmas explaining it:

What are you going to be doing when you get in the Red Zone? Here is a summary:

  1. Your eyes will be on THIS website right here. It will be right here where your supervisor will post instruction from Flight Command of what is needed to help Santa. Click here to see what that kind of post looks like.
  2. You’ll be watching The Map, which will be available on all official North Pole websites.
  3. You’ll be following the North Pole News.
  4. You’ll be watching developments of Santa’s flight at North Pole Flight Command.
  5. You’ll be listening to Santa Tracker Radio, also right here on this website.
  6. You’ll be the local North Pole agent to those people around you in your home, your neighborhood and on social media.

We would remind you that while being in the Red Zone you will have to juggle your duties as an elf with the activities of your family. Santa wants you to remember that YOUR FAMILY COMES FIRST.

The beauty of Santa having 40 million plus tracker elves this year means that the work is spread around. Lots of other elves in your sector will be working the Red Zone as you will be. If you cannot respond to a call to action at a certain time — don’t worry about it. Others will pick you up!

Tracker Goal Set for 2020

We all just got the announcement. Some are really stunned.

40 million!!!!!

I’m not sure what to think myself. Most elves are kind of cool with it after they heard this on Kringle Radio:

As for me, well, give me a few days to get used to this idea.

Last year was crazy. The year before that was crazy. The year before that was…nuts.

All I can say right now is they had better get an elf in here to help me out. I’m exhausted just thinking about this.

I’ll touch base in a few days when we know what the plan is going forward.

Thanks!
